Day 3 Post-Op

I've made it to day 3 and I'm definitely starting to feel more pain. My back is crazy sore from the lipo but also from the lack of movement and staying hunched over. I still can't take my anti inflammatories for my back for another week and a half when my Dr releases me to do so.

I'm getting up once an hour and making a couple of slow laps around the house when I'm not passed out and I'm beyond grateful for those taking care of me! My dad stayed for the surgery and visited with me afterwards (apparently the first thing I said when I came out of anesthesia was "my pigs?" Lol). Then Bethany picked me up the next morning, brought me home in the pouring rain, took care of me and brought be to my first post op follow up and then brought me home again. Then my dad and sister came over and my sis has been taking care of me and is staying with me for a few days. I'm just....so grateful to have this help!

It's also so weird seeing everything, my stomach is so flat. It's wild. The doctor sent me pictures of everything they took off and its......unbelievable. 11lbs off of me. I can't wait for the swelling to go down a bit and to be able to walk around a bit more. There's my update though. It's just day by day, making sure I'm eating a lot of protein, drink tons of water and electrolytes, taking my rotation of meds, walking once an hour, manning my drains every few hours and resting.

Day by day. I got this. I'm also so appreciative of everyone commenting and cheering me on! It honestly means so much to me! Let's go!!
